Summary This is a simple example how a rise in workers’ wages can influence final consumer price. A comparison is made between payment of intermediaries in percentages (as is usual the case) and payment in fixed amounts. It shows that more attention to the chain when discussing possibilities of raising wages to at least Living Wages will create more possibilities for improvement of workers incomes.
