Information Technology: One Size that Fits All
Twenty-four (24) representatives from fourteen (14) African countries have visited Common Services Centres (CSCs) in the Indian provinces of Kerala, Karnataka, West Bengal and Delhi from 29 November 2009 to 8 December. Supported by the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA), the ground-breaking initiative, whose theme is “Social and Economic Development using Information and Communications Technologies (ICTs)”, aimed at enhancing participants’ knowledge on how India has harnessed ICT to promote its overall growth.

Northern ICT4D session Tamale, Ghana: ICT in Education Curriculum
On the 30th July 2009 an ICT4D serie was held by GINKS in Tamale at the Institute of Local Government. Facilitator was Mr. Stephen Agbenyo, Northern ICT4D Coordinator of GINKS and the two speakers were Mr. George Fugluu Nego and Mr. Alhaji Mohammed Haroon.
