In Memoriam

koda1On January 1, 2012 Koda Traoré, the programme manager of TelecentresAfrica suddenly passed away, leaving a wife and two children.
Koda was a much appreciated and highly motivated colleague with a mission to improve the lives of the people in Africa. Since the start of the programme in 2008 TelecentresAfrica expanded through his efforts and has now a range of activities in Africa focusing on ICT-based rural service delivery including mobile solutions and community radio.
All partners that worked with him in the TelecentresAfrica programme will remember his optimism on African development and commitment to support local communities in Africa, his vision, expertise and knowledge on ICT for development and his focus on capacity building, and information and knowledge sharing. We lost a great colleague and our thoughts are with his wife and children.
